About the Internship

This online legal internship is designed to provide practical and live exposure to legal researchcontract drafting, and legal writing through structured assessments, assignments, and article writing, quizzes. Interns will gain hands-on experience while working remotely, ensuring flexibility and professional growth.

1. Legal Research & Analysis

Conduct in-depth research on civil litigation corporate practice, contract drafting, and commercial law topics.

Analyze case laws, statutes, and international legal frameworks in Tax, GDPR, Data protection.

Prepare concise legal research summaries.

2. Article Writing & Publications

Write well-researched articles on trending legal issues.

Contribute to the firm’s blog/publication, enhancing their legal writing portfolio.

Develop a strong understanding of how to present legal concepts to a wider audience.

3. Assessment-Based Learning

Complete structured assignments focused on legal practice.

Participate in problem-solving exercises.

Apply theoretical knowledge to live real-world scenarios.

Internship Structure & Deliverables

1. Legal Research & Article Writing

Objective: Develop analytical skills, legal reasoning, and legal writing proficiency.
Timeline: Addressed by campus ambassador directly 

Guidelines:

• Articles must be original, well-researched, and legally sound.

• Word limit: 1200-1500 words (must be adhered strictly, unless otherwise specified).

• Citation Format: Bluebook 21st Edition / OSCOLA / Any specified format.

• Selected articles will be featured /published on the legal platform.

Submission: Submit to the Campus Ambassador / Internship Coordinator via email/portal.

2. Assignments & Legal Drafting Exercises

Objective: Enhance practical legal drafting skills through real-world case studies, live case thought process  
Timeline: will be addressed by campus ambassadors directly

Guidelines:

• Covering contract drafting, legal concept briefs, legal writing, legal vocabulary

• Clarity, precision, and adherence to legal language are essential.

• Formatting: 12pt Times New Roman, 1.5 spacing, justified alignment.

• Assessments will be reviewed with constructive feedback for improvement.

Submission: Directly to the Campus Ambassador 

3. Legal Competitions & Events

Objective: Encourage participation in, legal quizzes, Article competitions.
Timeline: will be addressed by Campus Ambassadors

Guidelines:

• Competitions will be open for all interns and students, with winners receiving certificates and possible incentives.

• Selected participants may be featured in the Lex & Hacks Blog 

Submission: To be coordinated via the Campus Ambassador & Event Team.
